Feed the Fish Commandments.

Hello All, and welcome to the first (of many) posts from Feed the Fish. Before you decide to become a massive fan of ours you may want to read on and discover what our intentions are then, obviously become a regular visitor.

The 9 and a half Steps...

1) Feed the Fish intend to purvey fantastic music from the depths of Edinburgh with the intention of showing it off. So if you hate music or indeed, Scottish capitals the following blog isn't for you.

2) Feed the Fish is a friendly place, if you send us music we will listen. However, it may not necessarily be published.

3) Feed the Fish will not give the time of day to any artist who thinks they are Bono before they've even reached Larry Mullen Jr. standard. By this, we mean CALM DOWN we only want to write a little bit about then listen to, nice musicians and their nice music, we're not OK magazine.

4) We like bringing you a weekly featured solo artist or band from the glorious city of Edinburgh in the hope you listen, like and (possibly) buy or go to a gig.

5) Don’t bother conversing with us if one week you are an indie band and the next you’ve gone heavy metal. Choose what you like and stick with it but don’t bore us about living on the edge (of your granny’s castle and estate).

6) We are aware that there are other cities outside of Edinburgh, but for the time-being we might be a little biased in our musical findings. But hey, nobody is forcing you to like us eh?

7) Feed the Fish work on a “Nae Pint , Nae Good” music policy. If we don’t feel we’d enjoy a pint with you as well as enjoy the audio output, then a part of our soul dies. Sorry, we just can’t bring ourselves to like your music if we don’t like you.

8) Feed the Fish takes a dislike to artists who say things just for the sake of it. “I don’t listen to CDs, their too mainstream” isn’t our bag. GET A GRIP BIFFY CLYRO HAVE STARTED SELLING RECORDS WHO CARES?!

9) Feed the Fish is all about the music, the chat and the down-right cheek, it’d be impossible to comment on the music industry without having a sense of humour. Come join us you miserable Morrissey loving b*stards!

9 and a half) Feed the Fish does not intend to ruin lives, careers or anyone else’s fun.

Are we clear? Let’s get started.
